She’s a good girl and didn’t run away when I took her leash off. She used to be awful about that but now she actually listens. Win?

Nice. How’d you convince her to stop making a break for it? Mine runs off like he just escaped a gulag only to find himself being chased by a bear.

She used to do that when we first got her as a rescue at the age of 4. I think she’s just getting older and more mellow. She’ll be 9 this June.

My guy really mellowed out with age too (11 this year). It’s been nice. He still makes a break for it though, even when that break is most likely his hip.
